• The Russell Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (RCIE) is designed to connect the next generation of multi-cultural and women entrepreneurs to the tools and relationships required to turn dreams into reality. Located on Atlantas Westside, RCIE is a collaborative, co-working ecosystem that connects entrepreneurs to a customized curriculum, corporate partners, and access to capital. Connecting Atlantas top talent from diverse communities, RCIE is strategically located near The Atlanta University Center, Georgia State University, and Georgia Tech. With the adaptive reuse of the 40,000-square-foot H.J. Russell & Company headquarters at 504 Fair Street near downtown Atlanta, the family envisions a unique innovation center. The RCIE pays homage to the legacy of Herman Russell, while promoting a citywide and national dialogue around inclusive innovation and entrepreneurship. RCIE is a high-energy, inclusive community that will drive real diversity, inspiration, and collaboration among thought leaders. The Russell family is establishing this anchor institution to spur the development of a broader innovation space that will be an asset to the city of Atlanta and provide as a catalyst for broader economic development, wealth creation, and progressive social change nationally.
