- Ediké: (Eh-dee-kay) Haitian Creole for empowerment + education.Founded in 2012 by photographer Samuel McGuire and artist Charlie Hudson, Ediké is an ethical designer, manufacturer, and retailer of heirloom quality bags and accessories for both men and women. Each product is hand-crafted by a team of skilled artisans trained in a fair-wage factory located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. For every product sold, a portion of profits is reinvested back into Haiti for educational, industrial, and cultural initiatives through a network of NGO's. All of our leather is sourced from a local tannery in Haiti.Our mantra is that a truly great product is achieved only when quality, aesthetics, and ethics are inseparable.
