Our curated collection represents the works of select emerging and mid-career artists and designers. Our name, simply defines what we offer rare and extraordinary merchandise. No two products are identical as none of our merchandise is mass produced, nor widely distributed. We connect artists and designers with discerning buyers who have a deep appreciation for extraordinary talent and extraordinary products. Through imagery and short documentaries, we introduce the artist, their craft and journey of inspiration. We provide a stage for the voice of the artist to narrate his/her story about design, the need for master craftsmanship, and their infinite devotion and passion to their craft. Clients can trust our merchandise has been carefully chosen and thoughtfully vetted by a panel of well-established retail and trend executives. Commissioned pieces will be available for purchase in late April 2010 through a visually compelling website (rareculture.com). The next phase offers a sleekly designed coffee table book, published two times a year, which serves as a catalogue. True arbiters of taste and design will have the opportunity to purchase product or to just immerse themselves in the photography, layout and beauty of each edition. The third phase of our business model is to promote artisans and their collections to luxury retailers.
