• The Family & Youth Roundtable is an independent family and youth led organization. The foundation of our work is to build an interconnection between the families and youth receiving services and the public child-family serving agencies that serve our communities. Public agencies such as: Childrens Mental Health, Juvenile Justice, Education and Child Welfare Our core value is a genuine belief in partnership and engagement of diverse perspectives. In each perspective there is a belief that might translate as a benefit for many. We believe this because we are family and youth, who have received services, we know that partnering with our public and provider partners will strengthen families, build strong communities and improve outcomesWhat We Do:Training of Family and Youth on how to utilize their life experience to assist other families in navigating the system and overcoming challenges. Guidance for families/youth/contracted providers and public partners on ways to build and advance partnership at the practice, programs and policy levels of service delivery. Workshops for our public and provider partners that help them improve their partnerships with families and youthProvide a place for families and youth to support each other, share ideas, success and concerns.Provide coaching services for wishing to gain skills in advancing authentic partnerships.Promote excellence in the evolving field work of peer navigators support.
