• Since 1936, the University of Nebraska Foundation has existed to accomplish one goal - to advance the University of Nebraska. While independent from the university, we are intrinsically linked to it, connecting the dreams and passions of donors to the mission of the university, and stewarding donor generosity across its four campuses. Our dedicated leadership and hardworking staff of fundraising professionals have enabled us to serve the needs of our donors and the university since 1936. Today, the foundation has 3 locations in Lincoln, Omaha, and Kearney employing about 190 people. We Believe Private gifts have the power to transform higher education. Higher education transforms lives and communities. The university determines priorities. Donors determine where to direct their gifts. The relationship with the donor is valued as much as the gift. What we help donors achieve isn't measured in dollars and cents. Every employee contributes to every gift. Our goals are reached as a team. We respect our colleagues -- as individuals and as professionals. We should be held accountable -- to each other, to our donors and to the university.
