• Our WhyVision: UF Hillel envisions a world made better because of the impact of dynamic Jewish leaders.Our HowMission: The University of Florida Hillel is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that inspires future leaders to positively impact the world through a Jewish lens by connecting them with Israel, travel experiences, career advancement opportunities, and entrepreneurial endeavors.Our WhatUF Hillel's model is predicated on ROI (based on Hillel International's data points) - Return on Investment and Return on Impact - to ensure more Jews engage more deeply with Judaism and Israel. UF Hillel does this by Amplifying Jewish Student Voices. We listen to studentswhat they bring with them (their traditions and ideas, which we help them hold onto and gain new ones along the way), help them discover their unique Jewish voice (through inspiring them with Israel, Jewish community and social good) and encourage them to activate their new found voices in their next life stage (career growth, entrepreneurship and overall well-being)then amplify it to the world. We do this through three specific ways - Tradition, Inspiration, and Activation. Tradition - Voices of Our Ancestors - provides a space for spirituality, celebration of holidays and Jewish education. Inspiration - Voices of Our Heart - provides a space for connection with Israel, doing good, and building Jewish community.Activation - Voices of Meaning - provides a space for finding jobs, building companies, and connecting to overall wellness.
