- For the cost of one yoga class, you can save a life. Our mission is to unite and mobilize the global yoga community to empower women and children in India. We started in 2007, determined to help the poorest people in the country that gave birth to yoga, by supporting microcredit programs through the Grameen Foundation. Today, we partner with local non-governmental organizations such as NISHTHA in West Bengal and Deenabandhu Trust in Chamarajnagar to provide microloans and scholarships for over 900 mothers and children in India.
