• Pathfinder Village is a remarkable residential community that serves the needs of people who have Down syndrome and related disabilities. With innovative residential, educational, vocational, and recreational programs, Pathfinder offers a lifestyle that emphasizes learning, friendships, and independence.The Village serves 90+ residents and students who represent a range of backgrounds and talents. Through family involvement, community support, and a caring staff, residents are encouraged to maintain healthy lifestyles and embrace new activities. The community comes to Pathfinder through workshops, a bakery, events and concerts. We also offer Camp Pathfinder, a 2-week summer camp for young adults who want to experience life in our welcoming setting.Pathfinder Village's newest program is Otsego Academy, a new two-year post-secondary program for young adults living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Streck, MD, the CEO of Bassett Healthcare. Fundraising initiatives are led by the Village Foundation, which is chaired by Kathleen Gozigian. Fundraisers include the Otesaga Hotel Seniors Open Pro-Am and Chobani Tennis Classic, and raise $60,000+ for the residential scholarships each year.The Village has a budget of $6.9 million and $19,790,000 in assets. It is overseen by the Departments of Health, Education and the Office of People with Developmental Disabilities.
