• VC Energy [VCE] is a Renewable Energy development company. VCE combines proprietary technologies with standard industry components to design, build, finance and operate base load, continuous operating Clean Energy facilities. The energy produced and sold by VCE is electricity and steam. The basic premise of the VCE business plan is Destroying Waste-Creating Energy and this is done by creating syngas [a synthetic gas] from biomass waste products, oxidizing the syngas to create heat which then is used to produce steam to drive steam generators. One of the greatest strengths of the VCE program is the ability to use a wide variety of feedstocks [biomass waste products] efficiently without altering the capital equipment. Typical feedstock materials span from wood waste, animal manure, MSW, sludge, landfill gas, food waste to almost any organic waste. There are three primary factors that demonstrate the superiority of the VCE gasification thermal technology: 1. Feedstock/Fuel Flexibility. The VCE gasification process has been demonstrated to be able to use more than fifty (50) different types of biomass as a feedstock with the flexibility to adapt to an even wider variety of fuels without equipment modifications. 2. Air Quality. The requirement to meet BACT [best available control technology] is an ever escalating requirement. The VCE system is compliant with and currently exceeds the BACT mandates. VCEs managements survey has not found a more environmentally compliant, continuous power generation technology than the VCE gasification technology. 3. Independent Financial Viability. While biomass facilities enjoy some temporary incentives, the projects designed and developed by VCE will provide very competitive returns and be economically independent without any subsidies or incentives.
