• United Way of Blair County is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to improve lives by uniting people to care for one another. United Way of Blair County is focused on making lasting changes in Blair County by providing community members with the building blocks for a good life - education, health, financial stability and a safety net for those experiencing emergencies. Each year, United Way raises funds through an annual campaign to support local programs offered by Blair County non-profit agencies that address the needs of our community members. United Way of Blair County measures success not simply by the amount of dollars it raises, but by the number of lives that it impacts. United Way of Blair County is currrently supporting multiple programs through Impact Grants made possible by our generous donors. Community impact is maximized through the many outreach projects offered by United Way of Blair County such as the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. In addition, United Way of Blair County is home for the Family Resource Center which offers the evidence-based Parents as Teachers program.
