• STEPs is dedicated to helping each young performer reach their highest potential as a creative artist. We believe a strong foundation of theater fundamentals, creative freedom, and confidence is the key to success. Sisters Nicole Aubert Murray and Yvonne Aubert Sarafinas began the Specialized Theater Enrichment Program in the summer of 2012 to give Southern New Hampshire students the training and confidence they need to be successful in the world of musical theater. Tired of seeing the same students get the leads in every show year after year, Nicole and Yvonne decided to dedicate a program to encouraging and educating students to become the new stars on the block. With more than thirty years of performing arts experience combined, they decided to build their program around voice, acting classes, the audition process, and dance to give students of all ability levels a well rounded detailed education. Nicole and Yvonne are extremely proud to be a non-biased theater organization that encourages confidence, artistry, and growth in order to become a creative and engaging performer. Nicole began her dance career at the age of five with the New Hampshire Academy of Dance. She studied music and theatre at Saint Anselm College where she earned a minor in Music HIstory and Music Theory. She has been performing for over twenty years and has been choreographing at local theatre companies for the past eight. She has worked as a professional stage manager, choreographer, and performer at a number of local companies. Yvonne has over fifteen years of experience performing as a professional musician in the New England area. She holds a BA in classical piano performance and music history from the University of New Hampshire. She is currently a member of the Beantown Swing Orchestra, fronted by three former American Idol contestants, and plays keyboards and sings in the Wilson Stevens and Upside Entertainment band, Encore.
