• Fountain Street Fine Art, a resource for artists, art-lovers and collectors, is a contemporary gallery that exhibits the artwork of twenty emerging and mid-career painters, sculptors and photographers.Our founders, artists Cherie Clinton and Marie Craig, felt that the Metrowest Boston area sorely needed a cutting-edge contemporary fine art gallery, connecting the areas talented artists with art-lovers and collectors. And so, Fountain Street Fine Art gallery was founded in 2011 in Framingham, MA. The gallery was originally in a 2000 sq.ft. space housed in the Bancroft Building, a historic mill building.In April 2017, our unique space in the Bancroft Building was closed to the public due to public safety concerns. In order to survive, the leadership team jumped into action and took the next steps to give its artists exposure in Bostons expanding gallery destination, moving the Gallery to its current location in South Bostons SoWa arts district.Our vision is to make original fine art accessible, approachable and affordable for everyone, while engaging artists in the process of marketing their work to the public.Our passion is to bring the best local, original art into the hands and hearts of as many people as possible, and to foster connections between artists, art-lovers, and collectors. We achieve this by hosting high caliber contemporary art exhibits by emerging and mid-career artists, juried shows, collaborative projects and installations, and community events.Our mission is to support artists in their creative pursuits, while providing resources that expand their audience and collector base.
