- Partoe focuses on distributed power electronics for photovoltaic (PV) solar markets. Partoe brings to the solar energy market the Tiger 1 microinverter. As opposed to conventional microinverters, Tiger 1 entirely eliminates all external DC wiring, connectors, junction box, and the bypass diodes. Partoes Tiger 1 microinverter is a low cost, low weight, low profile, and fully integrated, microinverter that attaches directly onto the backsheet of the solar panel, creating a true PVAC module. With Tiger 1-enabled PVAC modules, installation and commissioning are much simpler, resulting in a lower installation cost. After installation, Tiger 1 enables higher percentage harvested energy and hence a lower cost for solar electricity on an ongoing basis.
