- Founded by Werner Venter (Industrial Engineer) EDRO offers children and families robotic kits and workshops for play and STEM development. Learning is visual, tactile and active. I have always been fascinated with hobby robotics. I started building robots with my sons on a rainy Cape Town weekend, their excitement and quickness to learn bowled me over. They love their robots, and what they have created and continue to create. Appreciating how much they learnt about math concepts and programming in an engaging way, I started EDRO as more kids should be given this same opportunity in a structured programme ~ Werner Venter
