• We are America's leading nonprofit telework educational and advocacy organization.TelCoa supports and enables all forms of Virtual, Mobile, and Distributed work through Research, Education, Technology, and Advocacy.We are constantly trying to figure out why people keep trying to solve todays economic, energy, and environmental problems using yesterdays transportation-based solutions.The Telework Coalition (TelCoa) believes the way forward is to encourage interactions on the congestion-free, green, safe, and disaster-resilient Information Super Highway creating a shift that would free up the present air, road, and rail networks for deliveries, freight, necessary travel and commuting, and emergency services, rather than unnecessary in-person interactions. Were asking organizations in both the public and private sectors to use this Highway for job creation using Work@Home opportunities, conferencing and collaboration, travel reduction, and disaster avoidance. Join us in urging Federal, State, and local decision makers to support legislation aimed at enabling, encouraging, and incentivizing the use of IT and todays information age policies, processes and procedures rather than relying on yesterdays industrial age business models and transportation modes.
