• Brandon Staley and Niel Townsend opened Transwest mobile back in 2009 during the Great Recession. Brandon was working as a service manager in a mechanics shop and got frustrated seeing fleet vehicles sitting for weeks on end, out of service when they needed to be out on the road making money. He felt there must be a solution to the slow turn around time of mechanics shops, MOBILE was the answer. For the past 8 years we've successfully cut repair times in half compared to mechanics shops.. Not only that, we've made the lives of countless fleet managers easier. They simply need to call our service manager and report problems with one of their trucks and we take it from there. We can perform p.m. services and diagnostics and almost any repair large or small on any size vehicle at our customers place of business. If the repair requires more attention, or the customer prefers the job be done offsite, our team of vehicle shufflers will transport the truck back to one of our shops for repairs. After the repairs are complete, our shufflers will return the truck back to our customer without missing a beat. Don't mistake us for a repair shop, we are far more than that. We are problem solvers. For example; We received a phone call from one of our customers who's wife had just been in a car accident. They were using a different company for the repairs since this wasn't a company vehicle. The shop they were using couldn't locate an airbag for that particular model of vehicle. He simply asked if we had any idea of where he could locate on, we took over from there. Our crew hunted down an airbag in North Dakota. We couldn't find a delivery company that would deliver it to Utah due to the explosive nature of airbags so Co-Owner Niel Townsend hopped in his truck and drove to North Dakota. After several days of travel, Niel was able to deliver the airbag to a very happy and relieved customer.
