- A 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, our mission is to generate and foster innovations to aid and improve the quality of life of those injured in the line of duty. Through a partnership with California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) and its premier students and faculty, we research and develop innovative technologies and assistive devices to improve the quality of life for active-duty and Veteran military service members, law enforcement, intelligence services personnel, first responders, and other public servants wounded while serving our country and communities.QL+s overall vision is to be the preeminent not-for-profit supplier of adaptive technologies at low cost or no cost to the men and women who have sacrificed for our country. In order to achieve this, QL+ secures patent protection on selected intellectual property. This ensures a healthful sustainability model; advancements made by the organization and its team members directly benefit further work of the organization and those it serves.
