• Jenna Avenell founded FFB in 2013 with the belief that it's never too late to learn how to dance! Because she learned to dance as an adult, Jenna understands the realistic learning curves & challenges that many adults encounter when trying to dance-- just the thought of it scares some people, which is unfortunate. Since Jenna used to be one of those people herself, she knows that each dance is the sum of simple, easy-to-learn steps. Her team is dedicated to making private lessons and group classes fun and enjoyable for individuals and couples of all ages & fitness levels. The FFB instructors teach Privates, Groups & Closed Groups at the studio located inside The Alley on Bitters, formerly known as Artisan's Alley. They also host Practice Dance Parties, Dance Nights Out, & are available for hire per event and in-home lessons as well. They can travel to your home, work or event site for private lessons, groups, or performances. Club Latin: Salsa, Bachata, Merengue & Cumbia Country: 2-Step, Triple 2-Step, NC 2-Step, CW Waltz, CW Cha Cha, EC Swing, WC Swing & Polka Ballroom/Am Smooth: Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango & V Waltz Ballroom/Int'l Standard: Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, V Waltz & Quickstep Latin/Am Rhythm: Cha Cha, Rumba, EC Swing, Bolero & Mambo Latin/Itn'l Latin: Cha Cha, Rumba & Samba Social: WC Swing, East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Charleston & Hustle Fitness: Ballet Fitness, Ballroom Cardio, Belly-dance Fitness, Zumba & La Blast FFB currently has students ranging from age 5 to 81! All fitness & skill levels are welcome & encouraged! Beginners with Two Left Feet are our Specialty! No experience or partner is necessary!! Our mission to strengthen confidence, character & commitment in kids and adults through affordable partner dance instruction. We are striving to grow the local dance community by introducing the art of partner dancing to the younger generations, while creating a fun, social & healthy after-work retreat for busy professionals at any age.
