This conversation can come in many forms: meditation, dance, song and spoken word, reading, drawing, and silence are some of the many ways we can pray. Our guided retreats, quiet days, and seminars are opportunities to explore the practice of prayer. They are some of the ways we offer to help people to become ever more alert to the movement of the Holy Spirit and the stirring of the soul.Pilgrimage is a journey of the spirit: an opportunity for people to have a time of spiritual refreshment.Pilgrimage is a response to the soul's longing for an experience of the Holy; for access to the sacred; for a journey that awakens our sense of being beloved by God.Pilgrimage, different from a recreational vacation or tourism, offers the surprise encounter with the holiness of the ordinary. On our pilgrimages we create for ourselves a community as a sacred space. Yes, we visit people who have changed the world; yes, we see significant historic sites. Beyond this there is a deeper intent and hope. With immersion in new and unfamiliar territories, pilgrimage beckons us further into our own souls and into a more intimate relationship with God.Our hope is that pilgrimage renews and refreshes us so we can return to our communities knowing that we are part of the world's healing and participate in God's reconciling love.We welcome you to join us, whether for a voyage across the seas, or a day of retreat, on the quest for renewed spirit.
