• OKDI is a middle ground for change in school safety where industry leaders, industry experts, law makers, educators, parents, students, private and public companies, law enforcement and first responders can all come to take part in the creation of a 21st century paradigm change in public safety. OKDIs goal is simple: to create state-by-state safety code for our educational environments. We have already started this process in several states across America and will continue to push forward throughout this great country in order to have all 50 states understanding the commonsense need to better protect Americas educational environments from violent acts of crime. OKDI is committed to giving everyone with a credible a voice a place in the discussion about how to make the American education system safer from life-threat emergencies and we are dedicated to doing this without showing favoritism to any private company, policy-maker or private citizen throughout the process regardless of donations or threats made against our cause. OKDI is a resource for everyone out there looking to become an expert of the threats that face Americas educational environments and what can be done to mitigate these incidents of violence plaguing our nations schools. OKDI is a training group for educators and law enforcement, whether we host trainings in your area or take part in other peoples public safety training events promoting a holistic approach to school safety. OKDI is a research entity designed to create, validate and promote solutions to school safety concerns that are going unchecked in todays reality nationally.
