- Family Initiative is a local non-profit organization created in Southwest Florida to meet the needs of children and families. We currently offer several programs supporting families who have children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We initially launched our ASD Playgroup, which provides a safe and supportive environment for youth ages 5-16 to meet with other children to develop socialization skills and to build friendships each week. We only utilize experienced clinicians to work with the children and their parents. Each of our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) clinicians offer a high level of skill and are able to support each child's unique needs while promoting positive social interaction in a fun environment. In addition, we host our ASD Art Class in partnership with the Alliance of the Arts regularly within the community.
