• LifeWork provides assistance to adults, adolescents, families, and couples struggling with a variety of issues. We help people dealing with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, substance use issues, feelings of emptiness, intense emotions, family conflict, relationship conflict, addictionsWe specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). DBT is a specialized form of therapy that looks at a person or family's whole situation, helps them understand what is happening, and helps to find balanced solutions that last. We help people acquire and master skills that can be used everyday and will assist you long after you have left services. We also utilize other types of counseling and therapy including CBT, Mindfulness-based CBT, Prolonged Exposure, and Interpersonal.LifeWork also provides classes to help learn skills to use in everyday life. Current classes include Parenting Road Map, Intro to Mindfulness, Communicating Love and Limits, and a weekly Parenting session to get help parenting adolescents and young adults having difficulty with strong emotions.We also do presentations and trainings for schools and businesses.
