The Ladies Professional Golf Association is one of the longest-running womens professional sports associations in the world, founded in 1950 by 13 pioneers. In fact, the LPGA today is truly Golfs Global Tour, with players from more than 25 countries playing in tournaments across 13 countries. With a Vision to inspire, empower, educate and entertain by showcasing the very best of womens golf, LPGA Tour Professionals compete across the globe, while dedicated LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals (T&CP) directly impact the game through teaching, coaching and management. The Symetra Tour consistently produces a pipeline of talent ready for the world stage. LPGA has generated more than $200M for charities, providing economic support for a variety of causes aimed at solving issues and providing hope. LPGA is under the guidance of Commissioner Michael Whan.
