• The Navy SEAL Foundation's mission is to provide immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community and their families. Our mission was not created by war, but it has been made more important and more difficult as a result of it. Established to serve U.S. Navy SEALs, Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen, Naval Special Warfare (NSW) support personnel, and their families, the Navy SEAL Foundation offers critical support to Naval Special Warfare commands, active-duty personnel and their families. As the duration and frequency of training and operational deployments continue, and the stress on the families and operators grows, this important community requires support today more than ever.Three Core Areas of Support:** Providing tragedy assistance for those who have lost a loved one in training or combat. Supporting family events to boost morale and encourage camaraderie** Awarding scholarships and providing educational assistance to active duty personnel, their spouses and children** Preserving the rich history and heritage of the Naval Special Warfare community
