    • Ramsey's Diamond Jewelers was founded in 1958 by Bob Ramsey as B & J Manufacturing Jewelers manufacture custom jewelry for other jewelers to see under their name. In 1972, Ramsey's Jewelers was opened at the corner of West Esplanade and Transcontinental in Metairie. in 1980, Robert Ramsey and his sister Lori Ramsey took over the operations of the store and in 1998 made the decision to focus only on diamonds and diamond jewelry. Today the store is located on Veterans Highway and has the largest engagement ring selection in the city and is expanding to two locations in early 2016.
