- Ubuntu at Work, a social enterprise, supplies ethically and sustainably produced products to retailers across the world. We train women living in rural areas in Asia and Africa to produce these products. Most of the women we collaborate with have no craft or other marketable skills when they become members of the Ubuntu at Work community. With the help of field staff around the world, we help the women gain new capabilities, confidence, and produce products for global markets. Our work helps increase the integrity of global supply chains and also helps rural communities become sustainable and escape poverty. Ubuntu at Work operates in South Africa, India, Uganda, the United States, and Indonesia. Ubuntu at Work Inc. is registered in the United States as a 501(c)3.
