Our Essential Beliefs All scripture is inerrant and inspired by God. God is one God revealed in three persons. God is the sovereign Creator of the heavens and the earth. God possesses authority over all he has made. Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. Fully God and fully man, Christ lived a sinless life while on the earth. Through the original sin of Adam and Eve, all people are born into sin. Christs death served as the perfect atonement for the sin of mankind. On the third day after His death, Jesus Christ was resurrected both in body and in spirit. Christ is the only way to salvation and the redemption of mankind. Salvation is defined as the reconciliation of sinful man to a Holy God. One comes to salvation through the grace of God by faith alone. Salvation is evidenced by righteousness in the life of the believer. There exists a literal and eternal Heaven to which are sent those who have received salvation. There exists a literal and eternal Hell to which are sent those who have not received salvation. The Church is the body of Christ and the representation of His kingdom on earth. Jesus Christ will return at a time known only to the Father to judge the living and the dead.
