- FREEBIRD by Steven is more than a brand; it is a culture. The passionate design team is the driving force behind the product, and carefully handcrafts each remarkable boot from start to finish; so that each pair is 100% one of a kind. FREEBIRD believes all great things take time, which is why each boot is made using the century-old Good Year Welt construction: hammering together and carefully stitching stacks of leather to create a virtually indestructible sole. At the root of it, FREEBIRD's original designs are inspired by vintage Americana and created using time-honored craftsmanship, a process that we can trust in enough to brand with the revered FREEBIRD logo. Founded in 2009, FREEBIRD Stores, Inc. is a privately owned company based in Denver, CO, that operates four locations in Colorado, one in Salt Lake City, Utah, and our most recent opening in Nashville, Tennessee. We are on a mission to change the face of retail, and the ENTIRE customer experience. We focus on selling the highest quality boot, a better selection of boots, and incredible customer service. We strive to make each individual visit memorable and customized the minute you walk through our doors, which includes offering a unique product at each specific location that you cannot find anywhere else. Operating as a privately owned company allows us to create opportunities for our employees that cannot be found in any other retail environment.
