• SAFEHUT has designed, engineered and will soon be manufacturing a revolutionary solution for the temporary / emergency housing needs. The patented design of the rigid walls and material used to construct the walls, this 8' X 8' X 20' housing unit collapses to only 16 high for transport. It is designed so that 10 of them can stack together and fit into a 40' cargo shipping container. Once it is at it's destination, it can be errected in less than 5 minutes with 3 people and a small lift. It's structural strenght when erected can withstand over 150 mph winds while only weighing just over 2000lbs. It is designed so that multiple units can be connected to provide larger living or work areas. The shell has been engineered to accept multiple interior componets which allows the unit to be used for a variety of purposes. A few such uses include a bunk house (sleeping 6 adults), command center/office, medical treatment unit or temporary housing for 1- 3 people (with cooking, dining, bathroom/ shower and sleeping facilities). By connecting 3 units, an extended family unit can house up to 12 people. After it's current use, the interior contents (Components) can be removed and either refurbished or discarded. The unit itself can be quickly and easily cleaned, disinfected and stored for future use. The reusability,durability and flexibility of the SAFEHUT is what makes it the Next Generation of temporary shelter / housing and such a great value for those who need it.
