QED's MRF fluids and machines can provide high removal with nanometer figure control and Angstrom-level surface finish. QED provides metrology utilizing Subaperture Stitching Interferometry (SSI) technology. Our product, known as ASI(Q), provides plano, spherical and aspheric surface metrology at high resolution, over large areas, and sub-nanometer performance. The combined metrology and polishing systems deliver a solution to solve the issue of reproducing high quality manufactured optics, at the lowest manufacturing costs, and with a known manufacturing leadtime. QED Technologies provide our customers MANUFACTURING CONFIDENCE to assure they can maintain profitability with on time delivery to the end user. Our contract manufacturing group, QED Optics, supplies optics or systems from under 5mm to 1 meter diameter, typically utilizing our core MRF and SSI solutions.
