Founded in 1953 by Anton Fox and two partners, the company continues to be owned and operated by the third generation of the Fox Family. As a full line electrical and lighting distributor, we can help you with all your electrical, lighting, switchgear and energy efficiency needs. Our main office in Chicago houses an electrial will call counter as well as a residential lighting showroom. We also have a location in Elgin to better service our suburban customers. The Elgin location houses our commercial lighting and switchgear quotations departments, as well as electrical material salespeople. In addition, our Energy Services division is ready to help customers who are interested in reducing their energy usage and costs.The company's sales force has an average tenure of 20 years, and many of our employees have been with the company for 30 years or more. The same can be said for our loyal customers, many of whom have done business with Active for decades.
