- The Wave is Houston's Jitney Shuttle Service. We are the way to get around in Houston. Started in September 2009, the Wave had only one bus and one route. By August 2010, the fleet had grown to 6 vehicles and 9 routes and has continued to grow ever since. We operate high quality 15 seat shuttle buses within primarily Loop 610. Our Western border is Sage, Southern is University, Eastern is BBVA Stadium, and Northern is 20th Street. We also have routes to all sporting event venues in town. The route times for the jitney service are Thursdays-Sundays starting at 6pm. However, the Wave often runs far greater hours based on special events within the City, private events, holidays, and such. We are the environmentally, socially, and financially responsible way to get around while making it a great great deal of fun.
