Our hospitals are the only practices entirely devoted to veterinary neurology and neurosurgery on the Gulf Coast of Florida; this allows for unprecedented personalized care for your pet. We are proud to be the only facilities on the Gulf Coast of Florida that have an on-site high-field MRI optimized specifically for veterinary patients. In addition, our board-certified neurologists are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for patients suffering from neurological disease. The role of SCAN is to partner with your primary care veterinarian to deliver advanced, state of the art, compassionate care to your four-legged best friend. We recognize that each pet and pet owner has an individual set of circumstances that can and should be the driving force in veterinary-related decision-making. For most of our clients their beloved pet is also their family member, thus we will strive to provide pet owners with as much information possible and counsel them to make appropriate, sometimes difficult, decisions about what type of treatment will be the best for their pet.
