- Despite the importance of relationships to student success and educators day-to-day jobs, relationship skills are missing in educator preparation. FuelEd was founded to solve this problem by equipping educators with the social and emotional competencies essential for building secure relationships in schools. FuelEd believes that if we equip educators with essential social-emotional competencies, then they will remain in their professions longer and develop stronger relationships with all school stakeholders. In turn, these relationships will drive students academic, social, and emotional learning. Our innovative program offers workshops and individual therapeutic services to teachers and school leaders to help them develop the interpersonal skills, emotional well being and self-awareness necessary to build healthy relationships and emotionally safe climates that drive student learning and development.
