National Framers Council
Get Full AccessDescription
- In June 2013, the National Framers Council (NFC) was established to create a community of like-minded framers, general contractors, suppliers and designers, and to educate construction industry professionals about the challenges and the liabilities framing organizations face every day. Since its inception, the NFCs highest priority has been developing tools to help Professional Framers improve safety on the jobsite for both their employees and their Skilled Subcontractors. Many months of work resulted in FrameSAFE, a graphical, bilingual OSHA-compliant safety training program designed specifically for the framing industry. The program includes an orientation checklist, a library of Toolbox Talks and safety posters for ongoing training, and a template for framers to create site-specific fall protection plans.
