The System consists of Saint Peters University Hospital, Saint Peters Health & Management Services Corporation and The Saint Peters Foundation.SAINT PETERS UNIVERSITY HOSPITALSaint Peters University Hospital is a non-profit, 478-licensed bed acute care teaching hospital. Saint Peters is a designated childrens hospital and a Regional Perinatal Center that operates one of the largest maternity services in New Jersey and in the country. In 2010 alone, the hospital delivered 5,885 babies, 1,384 of whom needed care in the hospitals Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The hospital is a major clinical affiliate of Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences providing full-time training to as many as 60 students in their third and fourth years of medical school, and has a clinical affiliation with The Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia. Saint Peters sponsors its own residency programs in obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and internal medicine and hosts other university-sponsored residents in radiology, orthopedics and surgery.
