- Since 1991, Extended Home Living Services (EHLS) has helped thousands of people successfully remain in their home by creating accessible, barrier-free environments. EHLS has also made innumerable churches and public buildings more accessible. Today, EHLS is the number one source for lifts and accessibility modifications in the Chicago area serving Northeastern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin and Northwestern Indiana. We have grown into a national leader in the industry with a full-time staff of 18 professionals, who along with construction trades-people do hundreds of accessibility projects each year. In 2004, EHLS opened To The Top Home Elevator to focus on residential elevators for the new construction market. EHLS is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist, licensed general contractor, and a licensed elevator contractor.
