• Reaching the Children (RTC) Entertainment, Inc., is a 501 (c)(3), not-for-profit entertainment company for children & families that was established in February 1997. RTC is dedicated to reaching children & families with positive messages of Hope. Our messages convey that everyone is one of a kind, they make a difference, & they are here for a reason. We utilize all forms of the entertainment industry.RTC is a hand of hope. Each of the fingers of the RTC hand carries a specific role in helping to reach children & families with it's core messages.RTC's A Fighting Chance (AFC)-Since 2002, AFC has been our flagship program that deals specifically with students in the educational system. AFCs core demographic is 8-13 yr. olds & reaches into public, private, home, & charter schools both nationally & internationally. This is a dynamic, top notch production that initially started in the late 1980s as an in-school comedy skit & has since been developed into a multifaceted live Broadway style theatrical performance. AFC instills our core messages to students/educators while conveying the importance of staying in school, literacy, respect for themselves, teachers, & parents. RTC's Bikes 4 Kids (B4K)-In the past RTC has collaborated closely with local law enforcement agencies to help provide hundreds of bikes to youth & families free of charge during annual Christmas events. We are now expanding into a new program called RTC's Bikes 4 Kids (B4K) that will allow us to provide bikes to a larger demographic on a year round basis. Including, but not limited to, schools, churches, & other non-profit organizations. B4K acquires new or slightly used/damaged bicycles, our teams refurbish them, & then provided to children & families throughout regional communities. B4K's main goal is to promote a safer, happier, healthier childhood. We partner with other organization's live events as well as our own to distribute the bikes in an entertaining fun manner.
