• Sae Jong Camp is an overnight summer camp focused on Korean-American culture and identity. It is a fun-filled week of education, summer activities and self-discovery.Our mission is to provide all Korean-American children the opportunity to explore their Korean-American identities, learn about their Korean heritage, and make friendships to last a lifetime. Our camp also provides an opportunity for campers to share their experiences with other campers and counselors who are able to encourage, support, and most importantly, empathize. We acknowledge each child as an individual who possesses unique and very personal life experiences as a Korean-American and/or adoptee. Each camper will be challenged to grow and encouraged to share, all while having fun.Sae Jong Camp is held at Camp Westminster, located in Roscommon in central Michigan. The camp occupies forty wooded, lakefront acres 200 miles north of Detroit, and an outpost site on the Au Sable River. It is surrounded by hundreds of acres of state forest.The camps thirty buildings, recreational facilities, and outdoor chapel are situated on Higgins Lake, known for its crystal clear spring-fed water and soft sandy bottom. Since 1925, Westminster has provided a setting where youth develop a sense of responsibility and self-worth in a Christian community.
