• At Baby+Company were a community of midwives and healthcare practitioners redefining maternity care on a global scale. Here at home, were working to bring more choices to women and their families through a model of care that brings together the centuries-old tradition of midwifery with the very best research, resources and data available today. Our goal is to provide women with a choice between what can feel like two extremes: hospital delivery and home birth. Not because we dont support these models of care, but because for many women, neither feels like the right fit. So we built Baby+Company around the power of choice. Our birth centers, partner organizations and affiliate hospitals form a continuum of support for families who want the intimacy of midwifery care, without sacrificing easy access to more acute treatment if needed. Our centers were designed to give our clients an exceptional range of options. From pain management strategies to the lighting in the birthing suites everything we do we do to support womens access to what works best for them. Because pregnancy, just like parenting, goes differently for everyone. Our goal is to create opportunities for women to have the most positive experience possible, on their own terms, supported by a team of caregivers that respect their wishes completely. We love being on that team. Its why we do what we do.
