• Four years in the making, Uprising Muffin Company was raised on the belief that food should be simple, fresh and above all, seriously delicious. Thats why every muffin we make for you starts from scratch with 10 ingredients or less, no preservatives, no artificial colors, nothing you cant pronounce. Sure, preservatives mean food can sit on a shelf longer, but we dont believe food was meant to last forever. If our muffin isnt in your hands today, its being donated to someone less fortunate and fresh muffins will be ready for you tomorrow. Our coffee is locally roasted in small batches, so it couldnt be any fresher. Milk for our espresso drinks comes from respectfully raised local cows and our sandwiches and salads are prepared fresh each day with local ingredients whenever theyre available. The perfect place to meet up with some old friends, make some new ones, or take advantage of free wifi while nibblin a hearty muffin and sippin a drip, Uprising is Shaws place away from home and the hustle and bustle. On a pretty nice Friday back in April of 2014 we opened our doors, literally. We propped the door open with a cement cylinder and hoped people would give us a shot, and they did! Since then, our doors have been open for you and thankfully, wonderful people keep coming in the door every day. Come join us. We're just getting started!
