• Executive Mental Health is a clinical neuropsychology practice located in Los Angeles, CA. We offer comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for adults (aged 18 and older) as well as children/teens (aged 6-17). Our neuropsychological evaluations pinpoint each individual's strengths & weaknesses to help them address cognitive, academic, & emotional difficulties. In Adult Care & Skilled Nursing facilities, we also provide psychological treatment services. Our staff psychologists and neuropsychologists serve over 22 different facilities in the Greater Los Angeles area, spanning from the San Fernando Valley to Orange County.With regard to the assessment of adults & older adults, our evaluations can address a variety of questions & concerns, including:1. Is this person experiencing problems with memory? If so, how severe?2. Could depression be interfering with this persons thinking skills?3. What is the diagnosis that best explains why this person is behaving in a particular way?4. Are this patient's medical conditions affecting the way he or she thinks and feels?6. Can this person make decisions regarding their estate? Medical care?With regard to the assessment of children & adolescents, our evaluations can address a variety of questions & concerns, including:1. Does my child have a learning disability?2. Does my child have an autism spectrum disorder?3. Is my memory functioning normal for my age?4. Could I have Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder?5. Could my depression be interfering with my thinking skills?6. Is my childs stimulant medication helping her to focus?With regard to Psychological Services in Skilled Nursing facilities:1. The first contact involves an initial interview & the assessment of psychological symptoms2. Treatment sessions last from 16 minutes to 60 minutes, depending on the patients needs3. Psychological services may be provided up to 2 to 3 times per week, depending on the issues to be addressed
