We believe as networks become more programmable through the introduction of SDN and NFV technologies that legacy, monolithic OSS is just not going to be able to keep up. The answer to managing a more dynamic network is dynamic, real-time OSS achieved through a model-based, platform centric approach that consumes existing APIs and allows for the creation of micro-applications that combine underlying capabilities in new ways.We believe the expertise required to be successful in this new paradigm is software-centric, and a transition must take place with the individuals and teams building and supporting todays networks. This transition will require a shift in the way Service Providers operate. Itential provides its Pronghorn Application Platform to accelerate this process, along with the advisory and platform API consolidation services required.Itential is focused on the successful adoption of SDN/NFV concepts and technologies to the Service Provider and Enterprise environments.
