• Founded in 1772, Salem College is the nation's oldest continuously operating educational institution for women.Today, Salem is an intimate learning community of women from all over the world and is one of our nation's most distinguished private liberal arts colleges.Salem boasts a proud history of fostering independence in women. Fleer Center for Adult Education, and graduate programs for women and men.
