• We aim to inspire gardeners from British Columbia to Southern California in the art of gardening, and provide the horticultural knowledge to do so successfully. Pacific Horticulture began in 1968 when three San Francisco Bay Area societies banded together to publish a common journal. Later joined by groups in the Pacific Northwest, Los Angeles, and San Diego, weve become one of the most widely respected west coast gardening societies, best known for our quarterly publication Pacific Horticulture. These six societies are stepping stones along the Pacific coast, a shared path to friendship and the commitment to sustaining the quality of life in this region. Our major product is Pacific Horticulture magazine, a favorite of gardeners on the west coast and well respected throughout the worldwide gardening community. Our comprehensive website at www.pacifichorticulture.org includes archived articles from past magazine issues and current information. A 501(c)(3) non profit corporation, our strategic direction is set by a board of directors. Our magazine and website editor is Lorene Edwards Forker and our executive director is Carol Moholt.Join us as a member whether you live in this region or simply share similar interests, and receive discounts on the first-class educational programs and tours we offer.
