• The Free Speech Coalition (FSC) is a trade association of the adult entertainment industry in the United States. Founded in 1991, it opposes the passage and enforcement of some censorship laws (with the exception of 'anti-piracy' laws) and obscenity laws.The organization was founded by a group of concerned industry professionals in response to numerous government attacks against producers and retailers of adult products. Its roots are embedded deep within the birth and development of adult entertainment in the United States and now represents all segments of adult entertainment on a national level.Issues in which the Free Speech Coalition is currently involved include:- lobbying in the state of California and on a federal level- providing resources and services to adult industry businesses and professionals- challenging 2257 record-keeping regulations in court (Free Speech Coalition v.
