- Tutoring for Excellence is an attempt to arrange years of experience and a variety of abilities in a more formal way. My name is Albert Doskey. I spent my youth and life until college in Dallas. I was a very good student and remained so, and I have spent my professional life almost entirely involved in education, either as a student, tutor, or teacher. I began tutoring at 14, pre-algebra for a young lady who did very well. Since then I have tutored preparation for the GED, the ACT, the SAT, and the GRE, and once for the LSAT. I have tutored many levels of Spanish and Latin, although in the case of Latin, with one brief exception, I tutored my own students. I have tutored 6th grade math through integral calculus. I long ago tutored programming in Pascal. I have tutored English grammar and composition. Some of these I no longer tutor because they would not be the best fit, but some other areas might be available depending on the circumstances. I note that in addition to the subject matter mentioned above I have taught courses in philosophy, theology, American history, and modern European history.
