Verona, fictional home to Romeo and Juliet, evokes the romance of an era, still. Well spend a day in Palladios Vicenza and pay homage to Mantegna in Mantovas Ducal Palazzo. Well spend a day exploring and drawing in medieval Lucca. Finally, well end our tour in Santa Margherita Ligure, above the spectacular Cinque Terre. For first timers, this will make all that Italian art history come alive and youll kick yourself for not doing this sooner! For returnees to Florence, well add new delights and youll have more time to savor your favorites. You don't have to be an artist but do need good feet and a healthy appetite for art. As returnees know, one can never get enough... Italy is 'user friendly', the people are generous, the food is fabulous and everywhere you look indoors or out, you are in a museum.
