• AZPETVET represents 21 co-operative, small animal hospitals in the Greater Phoenix-metro area. We are wholly owned by local veterinarians and are not a corporation. Due to growth, we are adding experienced veterinary staff at multiple practices. We have full-time and steady part-time positions for progressive veterinarians. We currently have over almost 70 veterinarians, 35 of which are owners, with most of these owners being previous associates in the hospitals in which they now share ownership. Our cooperative group approach to running the businesses allows our associate and owner veterinarians to concentrate on patient and client care. The hospitals are modern and completely equipped, including laser. Doctors are on incentive pay, based on hospital growth rather than exact individual income. This structure develops an environment where doctors do not compete for income, but rather help each other grow and learn as productive veterinarians. We enjoy a positive environment where the doctors help mentor each other and their technical team members. We have veterinarians with a wide variety of experience, who are excited about their practices and the steady growth which has occurred.
