Spiritus Project
Get Full AccessDescription
- Spiritus Project is a nonprofit organization with the mission to improve the quality of life for adult cystic fibrosis patients. It was the brain child of Jessica Link who passed away in early 2015 from complications related to cystic fibrosis. While fighting her own battle to survive, she was burdened by the number of adult cystic fibrosis patients who not only had to fight to survive but also had the added stress from the huge financial burden the disease creates. Her compassion to create a better life for other adult cystic fibrosis patients led her to develop the concept for this project. She landed on the spiritus name as it symbolized both the painful reality of breathing with the unyielding optimism with which she faced life. Jessica wanted to make a difference.. NOTE: Spiritus Project is a fully qualified 501(c)(3) organization.
